There are countless opinions, books, websites and blogs written about how we ought to parent our children.
And while much of what is available to us as caretakers might be good and useful, there is really only one way that is sure and guaranteed to work: God's way.
We will look at some of the foundational values and rules that God has put in place for us as parents to follow in order that we may raise children that will bring honor to God.
Location, Date and Cost
The conference will be held at Calvary Chapel Merritt Island on August 18, 2018. Check-in will begin at 9am and the conference will conclude at 3pm.
Childcare (Infants - 6th grade) and lunch will be provided.
Conference cost is $15 per person, $5 per child.
NOTE: Childcare registration closes Wednesday, August 15.
Jim Gallagher - Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Vero Beach
Jim has been pastoring Calvary Chapel Vero Beach since 1998. His heart’s desire for God’s people can be summed up in Paul’s words to the Ephesians: “‘Til we come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
Jim and his wife Christie have been married for 29 years and have raised four sons together.
Pete Vitale - Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel Vero Beach
Pete was called to ministry in 1998 while attending Calvary Chapel of Tallahassee, and began ministering to youth. Over the course of the next 12 years, he served in a variety of pastoral ministries.
Called to CCVB in 2010, Pete was welcomed on staff as an assistant pastor and children’s pastor at the beginning of 2011.
Pete and his wife Jen have been married for 21 years and have raised three children together.
Thomas Domajnko - Youth Pastor at Calvary Chapel Merritt Island
Thomas has been on staff at CCMI since 2001 and has served in various ministries. He has been the Youth Pastor since 2014.
Thomas and his wife Gina have been married for 17 years and have four children.
